This is the original India Bazaar store that started it all. Though a bit smaller than The Chantilly Virginia store It has most everything in indian grocery. I also noticed there superb lineup of cookware and religious product a really impressive
Visited this place for the first time not to long ago. Gentlemen behind the counter was super informative. The fish rolls were epic as well.
I needed to get herbs for my hair and felt weird going in this little market I never ever saw myself going into. I put on my mask and got out of the car thinking they won't have half of what I need. Boy oh Boy was I wrong! They had absolutely every herb I wanted and MORE! So much more! They helped me find what I needed and I went on my way with my long list. I crossed off all 14 items and found more herbs I hadn't yet researched. The prices were great. If I had to purchase all of this from Amazon during COVID, I would have spent 3x that amount and wait around for each package to arrive. I think I will stock up on cheap spices right before the Holidays! Not caring about how anyone saw me or treated me (they treated me fine) - I bought it all! I definitely will go back and shop some more!!
Only been here because of my coworkers who are Indian and live nearby. Have gotten some Cadbury Chocolate, Indian Snacks and fresh Samosas. Didn't get anything else. The location is kind of hidden in a strip mall on Muddy Branch and in a corner. But inside, the store is very organized even though the aisles might be tight. Has a decent amount of selection of items. Not too bad for an Indian store around the area.
I have been going there since 2005 when they started in the same place that Block buster was there before. This is the same shopping strip mall where Grand Mart is located. If you are looking for Indian spices, grocery, sweets, vegetables etc this is the place. The guy who owns it is a young guy named Jaspreet i think and everyone is very friendly. The place to go in the Rockville , Gaithersburg area for Indian food and before i forget for entertainment dvds etc
